The Fireplace Reveal

I mentioned over a week ago that my husband and I had been working on an update to our fireplace. I had completely intended to put the pictures up a few days later but after a last minute trip to Vegas followed by an emergency removal of my wisdom teeth....intentions got pushed aside. So after much delay here are the pictures of the fireplace redo.

The hubby did a wonderful job and I love how it took on a more traditional look. Thanks so much for all your hard work Mr. Tanner. You ROCK!

A quilt for me!

This quilt top has been completed for quite awhile but I was just not courageous enough yet to quilt it. But I bit the bullet and am so happy I did! I LOVE it!

Already been used to watch a movie with the hubby. So girlie and so cheery! It is made from Camille's Jelly-Filled pattern and used Swell fabric. Now on to the next project...another Thimble Blossom's pattern.

Just because...

it is summer, a million degrees outside, and we really like strawberries, I whipped up a little cake tonight and it was super delish!

We have been busy working on a few home projects. Here is a picture of things to come.

This little cutie has been quite the helper.

We're alive...

We just got back from a nine day trip to the beach.

It was so relaxing and now the hardest part is trying to get back in the swing of things. The whole crew....my entire immediate family and my aunt and uncle.Just us four.My beautiful sis and her great looking family.My parents with all of their grandchildren.

My Uncle Mark and Aunt Maureen....they are pretty photogenic.

Thanks goodness our next trip is not too far away. We are headed to Disney World in September.
