So I told you that I had won Heather's giveaway over at her blog Quiltin' Like Crazy. My goodies came in the mail today (WOW! That was fast!) and they are awesome. She also included some great ribbon and the cutest handmade quilted card. It is ADORABLE! Thanks again and I wanted to post pics before I cut into them. I am using them on my nine patch. Love them!
One more thing...my little sweet Jack made me the sweetest Mother's Day pot with a flower in it. Yesterday Jack came into my craft room and showed me a box full of dirt and told me he had been digging. This is what I found in our family room. 
I guess a boy just has to dig in the dirt!

Oh, no!!! Boys do have a thing for digging. MY 10-year-old just asked me if he could dig in the backyard yesterday. We're going to have to plan out a "digging zone" for him. :)

that is why i have fake trees in my house with that "hay" stuff around them. they love to play in that, but it doesn't stain the carpet.

My boys can also sniff out dirt a mile away! It amazes me how hour upon hour of enjoyment can be found with a bucket and shovel.
Oh my gosh and it's on carpet! How on earth did you get it out? I have a little one that does stuff like that...fortunately I have hard wood floors! lol
The other day he dumped a whole box of baking powder all over the floor! lol
