Goodbye Pacifier. We have been paci-free for two whole days. It has been a good run. You were always faithful yet there comes a time when all non-nutritive sucking must end. It is not Sam that will miss you but Mom and Dad. It's trash day so you are off to paci heaven. You will be remembered fondly and possibly missed at times.
Actually Sam has not really "needed" his paci for some time but we would still put it in his bed with him when he went to sleep or occasionally if he would find one somewhere he would pop it in for a spin. He has been ready to get rid of it but we have been too lazy to just cut the cord. Its gone now and was not even a problem.
Glitter and Bliss gave me this sweet award.
So, the rules are as follows:
#1 You must link back to the person you received the award from.
#2 You have to nominate 10 bloggers who are deserving of this award!
I will nominate my friend Brittany and my sister Nicci. I am not too good at this award stuff so that is all I will do. Thanks Glitter and Bliss. You should really check out her Etsy site...she makes some amazing things.

Don't worry Sam, I hid a pacifier from Mommy. I'll give it to you when she goes to work.
Good luck! Luke never took a paci, I was his paci...so it was super hard to cut that cord!!! And Dylan kind of does to sleep, depends on her mood. Can't wait to hear an update on how Sam is doing!!
Good luck! Let me know how it goes and if you have any tips!
That is awesome! I was a pushover about Devin's and we weren't able to throw it out until he was 27 months old! I actually think I needed him to have it more than he needed to have it. Good luck!
Congrats on your award!
Bye bye pacifier..such big milestones:)! How fun!

We finally got our oldest away at 25 months! I took our middle son's away at 12 months, so I didn't have to go through it again with him. So far our baby at 12 weeks, has no desire for the paci. He prefers me...Got any tips on breaking that?
Oooh, I've been thinking about the goodbye paci club too. Nina loves hers at bedtime. But then we just switched her to a big bed, and then with the new baby coming, I think we'll wait to traumatize her any further. But good for you!! And Sam...

It's so funny how they are usually better at giving it up than we are! Glad it was pain-free! :)
Why is it that we need the paci more than they do? I thought it would be hard with my youngest but he went on and never looked back.
Oh how sad for your baby. I had a son addicted to his paci too. Not fun taking it away from them!
Bless his little heart~ I remember those days all to well. I came across one today cleaning Maddys room. She is 8 and still plays baby with them. Thank goodness not to suck. Best wishes to the whole house~
Toooo cute...by by pacy! Did you make a box...I WANT to see when you do! I LOVE your Valentines crafts....the cloche and tag....perfect girl. cherry
That is so funny because we just took the paci from our son last week and he has been doing great! We just decided to not give it to him one day and we are so proud of him and also of us for following through!
congrats on your award! and congrats on breaking free from the paci, that is an accomplishment!!!! for both of you.
