BOXES.....

the best part of Christmas!

Anyone who has little ones knows that no matter what you purchase, how beautiful the house looks, how tasty the cookies are, the only thing that matters is the empty boxes. Jack and Sam took full advantage of that as soon as we started decorating. They played like this almost the entire time we decorated. I love every little detail about Christmas.

I have so many pictures of my kids inside big boxes. Now, being the creative one, I took big boxes, put them on end, cut out doors and windows and actually drew the "insides" to look like we were in a house. Thanks for the memory. Carol

OK, first of all I love your name! Second, I love your house! It's painfully cute and colorful and I just love it. I've been checking your blog for a while now and since then, my husband and I have discussed painting part of our living room a different color. That's where YOU come in! :D The green color in your house is awesome... we both really like it. Do you remember what it's called? Anyway, please let me know... jilljones43@msn.com! Thanks for sharing all your cuteness!

How cute.....my husband use to joke and say that we should just get our kids big boxes for Christmas because when they were little like your munchkins...that is all they played with....the boxes!!!!!!

Good reminder! We bought our daughter a new pretend kitchen for Christmas and the box is huge! I will have to hold on to it for her to play with!

P.S. I wish I had some advice for the switch to a big bed for kids...I am going to try in the next few weeks and will let you know if I discover any tricks!

How cute is that. Isn't it funny that you can buy kids all kinds of fun toys, but what they have the most fun with is the box!
